Makiko received her B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Space Systems Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2025. Her research focuses on the development and operation of CubeSats. Although she once stepped away from the space industry, her passion for space led her to pursue a career at Space BD.
